Do you like a little bit of colour on your lips but don’t like lipstick? Then our Lip Balm is what you are after! This Lip Balm will hydrate your lips while adding subtle burgundy colour. This nourishing balm contains organic coconut oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, vitamin E and red iron oxide to moisturize and protect the lips.

What’s in it?

Coconut oil: is a highly saturated oil extracted from raw coconuts or dried coconut kernel. Coconut oil helps to keep the skin hydrated, promotes the healing of scars and wounds, works as a barrier to keep out bacteria and treats dry skin.
Cocoa butter: is obtained from whole cocoa beans, it has a sweet smells of cocoa (chocolate). This butter has the ability to nourish, moisturise, hydrate and improve the skin elasticity. One of the benefits is that works as a protective barrier over the skin to hold moisture.
Beeswax: this natural wax can create a protective layer on the skin, which works as a humectant to keep the skin soft and hydrated. It is a natural exfoliator and historically it has been used to treat burns and wounds.
Vitamin E: is an antioxidant used to promote wound healing, skin cell regeneration and fight inflammation. Vitamin E protects the tissue from radical damage and helps to nourish the skin. Also serves as an additive to prolong the shelf life of the product.
Red Iron Oxide (CI 77491): is a mineral dye that gives cosmetic products its red colour. This ingredient is in a group of colorants known as Iron Oxides, which are mixtures of iron and oxygen. These mixtures have a long history of use as colorants in cosmetics, and considered safe for use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
